As you know by now, JP did not defend the title
successfully Saturday. Friday he got hit with
food poisoning, as did
Cori. Emma was Ok though (that's her under the puke bucket).
He did a "gut check" and raced anyway, and
really fought hard, staying in contention till 3-4 laps to go.
But on the power sections, he was just too weak. Wells
looked very fit and comfortable, Ryan looked very fit but not as
smooth.
I think we all gained a new respect for how JP
handled the situation though. I know I did.
